Good Jobs and a Strong Economy
As a career nurse and wife of a retired Boeing employee, Margarita understands the challenges facing working families. In the Senate Margarita projects jobs in our community, assists small businesses, invests in worker training programs, and attracts new business and industry.
Quality Education for All
Margarita's kids are all products of our public schools. In Olympia she has consistently voted for school funding, early childhood education programs, and community colleges and universities. Margarita wants everyone to have access to good basic education and choices of secondary education.
Affordable Health Care
After a career of direct patient care, Margarita has a firsthand understanding of our health care system. As a Senate leader she works to make insurance more affordable for individuals and small business owners, and improve access for kids, seniors, and low income families.
